Why I built it

The trip was brilliant. Finding it nearly broke me.

Last summer I wanted an affordable multi-city trip around Europe for me and my kids. It took several days of searches, spreadsheets and different flight combinations before Barcelona and Milan finally lined up at a price that worked.

What happens on Sunday at 23:59?

The founder offer closes and membership stays closed until we reopen it. Founders keep £37 a year for as long as they stay a member. From Monday 26 October, the free search shows trips leaving in the next 14 days.

How long does the founder price last?

For as long as you stay a member. Your membership renews at £37 a year. If you cancel and it lapses, the founder price goes with it.

Can I get my money back?

Yes. If it is not for you, ask for a full refund within 7 days of joining. You can also cancel at any time so your membership does not renew.

Do I book through Europe Unlocked?

No. We find the trips and the flight combinations, then you book each flight directly with the airline: no middleman and no booking fees. Flights are booked separately, so a connection between two of them is not protected.

Do the prices include hotels?

No. Prices are for the flights only, per person, and fares change all the time, so always check the price with the airline before you book.

Which airports do you cover?

23 UK airports, from Aberdeen to Southampton, including Belfast, Birmingham, Bristol, Edinburgh, Glasgow, the London airports, Liverpool, Manchester and Newcastle. Add up to four and search them all at once.

Is my payment secure?

Yes. Payment is taken by Stripe. Your card details go straight to Stripe and are never stored on our servers.

Is this the same as my Extreme Day Trips membership?

No. Europe Unlocked is from the same team but it is a separate membership, for trips with nights away rather than same-day returns.
